3-day event to meet the Tudor villagers as they go about their daily lives. Discover more about Tudor Life, along with arts & crafts, refreshments, hog roast, market stalls and more!
Come and meet the Tudors! Authentic Tudor re-enactment group Commotion Times, share everyday working life as it would have been in the village during the1500’s, after the dissolution of the Priory.
Learn about archery, take a peek in the dairy, see bread-making, basket-weaving, leather work, carding, spinning and weaving. Enjoy musical entertainment, Morris dancing and story-telling as well as chance for a close up encounter with hawks and owls.
Browse some authentic craft stalls and have a go yourself! There will be fun activities for kids, refreshments and a hog roast on Sunday.
Hosted by ISOT, In Search of Tywardreath, a local history group on the site of the old Priory at Newhouse Farm. Family friendly event suitable for all ages.
